Between towns
A round trip of the island is mostly rides from one hotel to the next. These are the legs travellers ask about most; any other is priced in the booking form the same way, by Google’s driving distance.

Flying home?
The fares work the same way in the other direction. The page on the airport drop has the fare from each town to the airport and how long before your flight to leave the hotel.
How these fares are worked out
A starting price covers the first 50 km. Negombo, Colombo and anywhere else within 50 km of the airport therefore cost the starting price of the vehicle and nothing more. Kandy, at 114 km, is the starting price plus 64 km at the vehicle’s rate; Ella, at 335 km, the starting price plus 285 km.
The distances are Google’s driving distances to the place named on each page, measured with our own booking form. A hotel a few kilometres away has a fare of its own, which the form shows as soon as you enter the address.
